Fire Safety Services

Student Life's Facility Services department facilitates fire safety strategies including inspection, training, testing, code compliance and educational programs for all of our facilities both on and off-campus.

Our fire safety program includes the:

  • 54 fire alarms that are monitored 24/7
  • Staff training
  • Fire safety training
  • Fire drills
  • Smoke outs
  • Event planning
  • Reporting
  • Investigation

To ensure the safety of our staff and students, we collaborate with:

  • University Fire Prevention
  • OSU Burn Center
  • State Fire Marshall
  • Columbus Fire Department
